Shipping policy
Nom Now is an independent courier service, we offer collection of food and other items from suppliers in your local area.
All orders are delivered in the order in which they are received. The delivery time can vary based on order volume and driver availability, once your order is received, the next available driver will be assigned to your order. Once the driver has collected your order, you will be able to track the drivers location via the link you received by email and/or text message (as long as the contact details provided are valid and in service), the tracking service is provided to you by us free of charge, it is created by a third party, we accept no responsibility for any failure of this service. We provide no guarantee on delivery times, any estimate you may have been given is an estimate only and not guaranteed. We aim to deliver all orders within a maximum of 1 hour and 30 mins, however our usual time is 30 to 60 minutes, orders are not considered 'late' or 'delayed' until 2 hours from the time of ordering, after this time you may contact us at support@nomnow.co.uk for advice, any emails we receive before this time, related to delivery time will be disregarded, instead you should check the link you received by email and/or text message (as long as the contact details provided are valid and in service) for information regarding the progress of your order.
By ordering you agree to pay the price shown on the website/app at time of ordering. Either cash or card payment is accepted at the door, or a combination of both, if you are paying by cash please ensure you have the correct change, the driver is not obliged to carry change, nor are we legally obliged to provide change. The item price shown is usually made up of the cost of the item from the supplier, plus any cost we may occur in providing the service, including but not limited to, the cost of supplying a driver, the cost of purchasing the item on your behalf, the cost of processing the order through our system and providing tracking. There may also be a delivery charged based on distance, this is not refundable, this will be displayed in the checkout/cart page, by confirming the order, you agree to pay the displayed charges, payment must be made no later than at the time of delivery of the order. If payment cannot be collected at the time of delivery for any reason, we will send you a link to make payment online with a credit/debit card, please pay as soon as possible, if you do not pay within 24 hours we may limit your account to prevent any new orders until payment is received.
By placing an order with us, you agree that: If you request a change to any items, eg: no cheese, we will make this request at the restaurant, however we will not be responsible if the restaurant makes a mistake in completing this request or any other mistakes made by the restaurant, eg missing items. You agree that Nom Now is not liable whether in contract, tort, breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeably, arising under or in connection with the Service, the Nom Now app or the Website for: loss of profits, sales, business or revenue; loss of goodwill; indirect or inconsequential loss or loss or corruption of data. for the condition/defects of any of the product we carry on your behalf. Nom Now cannot issue refunds for any incorrect/missing parts of an order if the order was placed correctly with the supplier, but the supplier made an error.
If you have a food allergy or intolerance, or someone you are ordering for has, please contact the restaurant to check whether your chosen food is suitable, before placing your order. If you’re unable to contact the restaurant, we recommend not placing your order.
The restaurants themselves are responsible for cooking your order. If you want to make sure their food won’t affect your food allergies, they’re the best people to get in touch with. Additionally, the restaurant is best placed to answer your questions about ingredients used in your meal and how they are cooked, i.e. whether shared fryers and grills are used and whether this may mean that the food is not suitable for you.
We also cannot guarantee your meal will not come into contact with other allergens during delivery. Couriers may transport other orders or orders from other businesses at the same time as your order.
